Choosing Homemade Granola Bars 

Easy. Healthy. Yummmmmmm. 


  • Coconut oil for greasing pan
  • 1 organic egg (white only)
  • 1/4 cup raw honey 
  • 1/2 cup super butter/wow butter/sesame seed butter (or your favourite nut butter if allergies are not an issue for you)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick) melted
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 tbsps organic coconut chips (or shredded coconut)
  • 1/4 cup seeds (Pumpkin or sunflower)
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chunks 


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease a 9×11 pan with coconut oil. Line bottom of pan with parchment paper (excess can go over sides).  Grease parchment paper with coconut oil as well.
  3. Beat egg white in a large bowl until frothy.  Add honey and seed butter and mix until combined. Add melted butter.
  4. Add in oats, coconut and seeds. 
  5. Mix until combined.
  6. Add chocolate chunks.  Combine.
  7. Spread evenly in prepared pan. 
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until light golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool before cutting.
