Easy Homemade Hamburgers

homemade hamburger patties are the best
Bbq hamburgers are one of my favourite summertime dinners. You might be surprised how easy and quick it can be to make homemade patties – and definitely healthier!  Many store bought patties are full of filler ingredients, super salty and honestly taste like hockey pucks.  Try this recipe and let me know in the comments if I’ve sold you on making your own from now on! 😊🍔

  • 2 lbs organic, hormone-free, antibiotic-free lean or extra lean ground beef
  • 1 sweet organic Vidalia onion – finely diced
  • 2-4 cloves garlic  as per your preference – minced
  • 1/2 cup bread or Panko crumbs
  • 1 organic free range egg
  • Dash Frank’s Red Hot sauce
  • 2 dashes of Bragg’s Liquid Aminos Soy sauce

  • Fresh ground sea salt & black pepper

  1. Mix all ingredients in a large stainless steel bowl working together with fingers.
  2. Line a platter or cookie sheet with parchment paper
  3. Measure and shape your patties using a jar lid to make perfect patty shapes – uniform size and thickness
  4. Bbq or broil until cooked through. It is important to cook ground beef thoroughly.

Serve with your favourite burger toppings!  What do you like on your burger?
