Onion Broth Recipe

  This is an easy to make broth that is healthy and yummy!


  • 2 tbsp. olive oil 
  • 2 organic onions 
  • 2 cloves garlic 
  • Thyme – fresh is best 
  • Sea salt to taste 
  • 8 cups water


  1. Chop onions and garlic 
  2. Heat olive oil over low heat 
  3. Sauté onions and garlic until translucent 
  4. Add thyme and sea salt 
  5. Add water and bring to gentle simmer 
  6. Simmer until desired flavour is reached. Add more salt to taste if needed. 
  7. Strain broth and enjoy on its own or in place of stocks in your favourite recipes.
